Job description

Washing and putting dishes away, taking out garbage/recycling, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning floor mats/carts, cleaning up dish area at end of shift. Helping with extra cleaning projects as time allows.

Position Summary:

The Dishwasher washes and inspects all dishes coming through the kitchen. They put all dishes in proper location and maintain a clean and attractive work area.

Minimum Qualifications:

• ServSafe certification required within 6 months of hire
• Abillity to read, write and follow oral and written instructions
• Previous experience with high standard food service
• Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred: 1 year kitchen experience

Essential Job Functions:

• Wash dishes
• Report any equipment problems to Executive Chef or Maintenance Department.
• Assist kitchen supervisor with chores and tasks.

• Ability to work varied shifts
• Self-directed, completes assignments accurately, thoroughly and with minimal oversight
