Job summary

Aba - Chicago & The Dalcy in Chicago, IL is seeking dependable dishwashers to join our kitchen team. You will wash and sanitize utensils, pots, and glassware, and help maintain back-of-house cleanliness for a busy dining operation.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to multitask, and able to stand for long periods while lifting up to 50 pounds. Weekend shifts and teamwork are valued in our Fulton Market kitchen.

Qualifications

• Willingness to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to read a thermometer and follow safety guidelines.
• Capable of multitasking and maintaining cleanliness under pressure.
• Reliable and team-oriented with flexible weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and utilize the dish machine and cleaning supplies.
• Wash, sanitize and dry all utensils, equipment and items.
• Maintain the back-of-house cleanliness and organization.
• Read and follow thermometer readings and maintain equipment.
• Return and restock items after washing and sanitizing.
