Pura Vida Miami is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to join our kitchen team in New York. You will clean dishes, sanitize surfaces, and maintain a tidy station while supporting cross-training across roles to help the team grow.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, handle pots, pans, and heavy loads, follow health and safety regulations, and contribute to delivering a consistent guest experience. No prior experience required, but reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a dishwasher preferred but not required.
• Must possess dexterity to operate dishwashing machines and handle pots/pans.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen setting.
• Must be familiar with the measurement system.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand.
• Ensure all items are cleaned and sanitized in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including floors, walls, and countertops.
• Handle and maintain dishwashing equipment properly; report malfunctions to Kitchen Manager.
• Replenish cleaning supplies as needed and organize clean dishes and equipment for easy access.
• Assist in receiving deliveries and store them properly.
