Job summary

Compass Group USA in Arkansas City (Cowley College) is hiring for a full-time dishwasher. Location: 125 South 2nd Street, Arkansas City, KS 67005. Schedule: Monday through Friday; hours may vary. Prior dishwashing experience is preferred. Fixed pay rate: $12.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Prior dishwashing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans and utensils in sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or in the machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods; ensures cleanliness.
• Maintains safety procedures and proper chemical levels.
• Keeps dish area orderly and adheres to safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans work surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles disposal.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Loads and unloads supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
