Great Western Dining at Murray State College in Oklahoma is seeking a fun and energetic Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. You will help maintain a steady flow of clean dishes and keep dining and prep areas ready for the next shift.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, restocking, cleaning equipment, unloading deliveries, and supporting team members. The role requires the ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 25 pounds, with a commitment to food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Minimal work experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management and ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware.
• Prepare dining areas and kitchen for next shift by cleaning and restocking dining areas and cook stations.
• Clean machines and appliances used in the kitchen (coffee makers, pots, pans, mixers, etc.).
• Unload and store deliveries.
• Sweep and mop floors, especially after spills or breakages.
• Take out the trash and rinse garbage cans.
• Support other staff by assisting with other tasks as needed.
