Job summary

Graziano's Group is seeking a kitchen support role focused on dishwashing and basic food-prep tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position requires attention to safety, cleanliness, and efficient handling of dishes and supplies.

Responsibilities include washing and storing items, maintaining a neat kitchen, stocking stations, and assisting with deliveries and food prep as needed. Night and weekend availability is preferred to support restaurant operations.

Qualifications

• Prior completion of food safety coursework preferred.
• Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and/or pans by hand or using dishwashers.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean or prepare various foods for cooking or serving.
• Stock supplies in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Sweep or scrub floors.
• Sort and remove trash to designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food or supplies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Clean garbage cans with water or steam.
• Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
• Receive and store supplies.
• Prepare and package individual place settings.
• Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to listen and follow directions.

Education And Experience

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.
