Job summary

Xanterra Travel Collection at Grand Canyon South Rim is hiring dishwashers to join our Food & Beverage team. Proper cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, utensils and glassware are your focus.

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round; Pay: $15.85 per hour; Schedule: 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays). We offer low-cost housing, on-site meals, laundry, shuttle service, and growth opportunities in a fast-paced hospitality environment at

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods.
• Able to work around high temperatures and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all cooking utensils, dishware, pots/pans, and work areas.
• Clean and organize back dock including surrounding areas.
• Clean and sanitize work areas including the pot/pan sink.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors, break room areas, walls and shelves of the kitchen including walk-ins.
• Clean and sanitize employee restrooms on a schedule.
• Take out trash and clean trash receptacles.
• Restock dishes on the lines.
• Complete opening and closing shift side duties.
• Wear required personal protective equipment while performing tasks.
• Adhere to all safety risk management and environmental policies while performing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Proper cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, dishes, pots/pans, utensils and glassware.

The Details

Position Type: Full-Time, Year-Round

Pay: $15.85 per hour

Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

• Ability to work around high temperatures, cleaning detergents and chemicals.

Physical Requirements include:

Constantly: Stand, handle.

Frequently: Walk, reach, climb, crawl, squat/kneel, bend, lift/carry up to 50lbs, push/pull up to 40lbs.

Ocassionally: Sit, lift/carry over 100lbs, push/pull up to 100lbs.
