Job summary

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not required.
• Must be friendly, display a positive attitude, and have good teamwork skills.
• Good communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Wash and unload dishes, pots, pans, silverware, china, utensils, and equipment.
• Use proper procedures for cleaning and storing items - comply with health/safety codes.
• Stock soap, towels, and paper products throughout the kitchen.
• Perform daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
• May scrub and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas.
• Maintain a positive attitude and support a team environment with other dishwashers and culinary staff.
• Promote positive relations with residents, families, and guests.
