Position Summary

Under general supervision, completes all required tasks for patient tray cart delivery/pick up, pot and pan cleaning, and departmental sanitation. Completes established competencies within the designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Education: High School Graduate or equivalent

Minimum Experience: NA

Preferred Experience: 1 year of experience

Required Certifications/Licensure: ANSI Accredited Texas Food Handler or Food Manager course or Certified Food Manager from San Antonio Metropolitan Health District

Additional Information: This role involves food preparation, following recipes, working as a grill cook if needed, prepping food, preparing salads and desserts, and ensuring food safety standards. Must check temperatures of foods and patient trays, and ensure timely delivery.
