Job summary

Canteen in Lincoln, NE is hiring a full-time dishwasher to join our team. This entry-level role focuses on maintaining clean dishes, pots, pans and prep areas while following safety and sanitation standards.

You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with pay ranging from $16.00 to $16.50 per hour. Prior Lancaster County Food Handler's permit preferred; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Previous Lancaster County Food Handler's permit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes by hand or with a dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays ensuring cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using equipment and follows procedures to stay sanitary.
• Keeps the dish area clean and compliant with safety standards.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels per standards.
• Loads and unloads supplies as needed.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
