We are looking for a diligent and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. Your responsibilities will include efficiently cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to support smooth kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

1. Sort soiled ware promptly and carefully for proper machine cleaning; wash and store ware appropriately; maintain dish machine cleanliness and water levels.
2. Polish silverware for proper appearance.
3. Clean kettles, skillets, pots, and pans thoroughly for cooks.
4. Follow attendance policies and be available to work regularly.
5. Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware for staff use.
6. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen work areas and equipment.
7. Sweep and mop floors; clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
8. Remove trash and garbage, and clean trash containers.
9. Sort and process cardboard boxes.
10. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand; scrape and wash dishes, using dish machine as needed.
11. Operate dishwashing equipment properly, including running glasses twice through the machine.
12. Understand OSHA regulations and maintain personal hygiene.
13. Manage stock rotation and storage of clean utensils.
14. Assist with food preparation and cooking under chef supervision.
15. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Driver License.
• Must hold a valid Food Handlers Certificate.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to create a courteous and professional work environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry moderate weights.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending and twisting.
• Capability to use culinary tools and sensory skills (taste and smell).

Working Environment

• Indoor hotel restaurant and kitchen areas with exposure to humidity, steam, and temperature extremes.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals.
