Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures and maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and ensures sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation rules.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it properly; handles storage and transport of supplies.
