Job summary

Compass Group is hiring for full- and part-time dishwasher positions at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY 12538. Location: 1946 Campus Drive. Schedule: Monday through Friday, closing shift; weekend availability required. Online applications accepted only.

Prior dishwashing experience is preferred; training will be provided. Pay range: $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. Summary: Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dishes and washes them by hand or in a rack or conveyor system.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and maintains cleanliness.
• Maintains safe temperatures and chemical levels per standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and compliant with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet safety and sanitation requirements.
• Washes work tables, walls and other prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and handles supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with loading/unloading supplies and performs other duties as assigned.
