Responsibilities include washing and sanitizing, handling pots and trays, and ensuring safety and cleanliness in a fast-paced school dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays and ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and procedures and maintains safety and cleanliness.
• Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it properly; assists with loading/unloading supplies.
