Levy Restaurants is hiring a Dishwasher at Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. The role involves maintaining cleanliness of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas, ensuring all items meet hygiene standards and safety regulations.

Candidates will also be responsible for transferring supplies, unloading goods, and performing other kitchen duties as assigned. Previous experience is valued; however, training will be provided. Join a committed team dedicated to a clean kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Certain positions may require a Florida Level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks.
• Bakes and washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine, tumbler, or buffing wheel.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on a conveyor to a dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Bakes and washes pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using burnishing machine, tumbler, chemical dip, buffing wheel, and hand cloth, depending on assigned equipment and procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensures compliance with outlined safety procedures.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
• Keeps the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it in designated containers. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Helps load and unload supplies and products.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
