Job summary

Sodexo at Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA is seeking a Dishwasher to join our food service team. This role supports kitchen operations by cleaning and sanitizing equipment, surfaces, and storage areas, and by assisting with basic set-up and break-down during shifts.

The position offers flexible options, with full-time or part-time schedules, and a pay range of $17.13–$19.00 per hour. No prior experience required; HS diploma or GED preferred, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• No related work experience required.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes work tables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops and vacuums floors; removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment with proper chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies such as soap and cleaning materials.
