Job summary

Monarch Communities, operating Brandywine Senior Living, is seeking a Dishwasher to join our team in New Jersey. The role reports to the Executive Chef and is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Per diem shifts are available, with duties including general kitchen cleaning, washing equipment, and delivering excellent service to staff and residents. The candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen, follow sanitation SOPs, operate dishwashing machinery, and assist with dining room duties during service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferable.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be able to operate in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with sanitation SOPs.
• Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Clean, prep and wash pots, pans, utensils, plates and silverware; store properly.
• Ensure chemical dispensers work and cleaning supplies are adequate.
• Use safety equipment to meet OSHA standards.
• Empty and clean garbage from kitchen to dumpster.
• Assist dining room by removing soiled dishes during meals.
