Job summary

Monarch Communities in Brick Township, NJ is seeking a Dishwasher/Utility to support the kitchen team. The non-exempt, hourly role reports to the Culinary Services Director and involves cleaning, washing equipment, and delivering courteous service to staff and residents.

Pay starts at $16.00 per hour. Benefits include PTO, flexible schedule, on-the-job training, EAP, and free parking. Prior experience is not required; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in accordance with SOPs.
• Operate dishwashing machinery safely and efficiently.
• Clean, prep, and wash pots, pans, utensils, plates and silverware.
• Ensure cleaning supplies and chemicals are stocked and functioning.
• Assist in dining room with clearing dishes during service.
• Adhere to OSHA safety standards and proper body mechanics.
