Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in Texas is hiring dishwashers for full-time or part-time roles. You will maintain a safe, sanitized dish area and support the kitchen team during busy periods. You’ll operate an industrial dishwasher, clean utensils and cookware, and contribute to a clean kitchen with proper sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and ability to learn to use them properly.
• Ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep and mop floors, clean and sanitize equipment.
• Maintain clean, orderly kitchen work areas and utensils.
• Clean food preparation areas and equipment.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures and safety practices.
• Store clean dishes and cooking equipment properly.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Assist line cooks and kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks delivering supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean spills or broken glass promptly.
