Job summary

P.F. Chang’s in Sandestin, FL is hiring a dishwasher to keep a safe, sanitized area for staff and guests. You will wash and sanitize all wares, keep the dish room clean, and support the kitchen team.

We offer full-time or part-time schedules, competitive hourly pay, and on-the-job training with opportunities for advancement as we promote from within. Must be at least 18 and possess a Food Handler’s Card where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and use them properly.
• Ability to work in warm kitchen temperatures and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cooks and other kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks delivering or picking up food or supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
