Job summary

P.F. Chang's in California is hiring a Dishwasher for full-time or part-time roles. The position ensures a safe, sanitized dish area and handles washing and sanitizing all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.

Responsibilities include operating an industrial dishwasher, cleaning and maintaining the dish area, following sanitation procedures, and assisting kitchen staff during peak times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Must possess a current Food Handler's Card, where applicable.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used in the building and ability to learn to use them properly.
• Ability to work around various levels of temperature, including warm to very warm temperatures in the kitchen.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, and sanitize utensils.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils in clean, orderly condition.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Follow proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes and utensils in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Assist prep cooks and other kitchen staff during peak times.
• Load or unload trucks delivering food or supplies.
• Perform opening, closing and side work.
• Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.
