Responsibilities

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses dishwashing machine as assigned.
• Washes pots, pans and trays; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate equipment and chemicals; maintains sanitation.
• Keeps dish area orderly and adheres to safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans work surfaces and prep areas.
• Removes trash and handles storage transfers as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
