Job summary

The Lodge at Truitt Homestead is seeking a friendly Dishwasher to support our culinary team and help provide memorable dining experiences for our residents. The role emphasizes a positive work environment, teamwork, and adherence to cleanliness standards in a senior living setting.

You will operate the dishwashing machine, maintain clean work areas, follow cleaning schedules, assist with deliveries under supervision, and help ensure safety and hygiene across the dining and kitchen spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• One (1) previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary food service environment by sweeping, mopping and pressure washing floors as well sanitizing the dish machine.
• Set up and maintain dish and pot washing areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Receives deliveries of food and non‑perishable supplies under the direction of culinary services director/cook.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
