Job summary

The Lodge at Truitt Homestead is seeking a reliable dishwasher to support our culinary team in serving seniors. You will operate the dishwashing machine, keep areas clean, and assist with setup and daily sanitation to ensure a smooth kitchen workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• One previous experience preferred.
• Interest in working with a senior population.
• Demonstrated customer service skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary food service environment by sweeping, mopping and pressure washing floors as well as sanitizing the dish machine.
• Set up and maintain dish and pot washing areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Receives deliveries of food and nonperishable supplies under the direction of culinary services director/cook.
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
