Job summary

PF Changs China Bistro in Indianapolis is hiring a Dishwasher to ensure a safe, sanitized area for staff and guests. You will wash and sanitize all plate ware, drink ware, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, and keep the dish room clean and organized.

The role involves operating an industrial dishwasher, supporting prep cooks, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards throughout the kitchen. Pay ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a current Food Handler’s Card, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Learn about all chemicals used and how to use them properly.

Responsibilities

• Operates an industrial dishwasher.
• Wash dishes, sweep/mop floors, clean and maintain equipment, sanitize utensils and maintain all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment or utensils in clean and orderly conditions.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities or equipment.
• Execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Place clean dishes, utensils or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Empty and clean all trash receptacles.
• Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff during peak times.
