Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher at Maine Maritime Academy. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation across food production and service areas, supporting kitchen and facility operations.

The role includes cleaning equipment, floors, and storage spaces, transporting supplies, and assisting with setup and breakdown tasks as directed. Minimum requirements are a High School diploma or equivalent, with knowledge of sanitation procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety basics.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Assist with setup and breakdown tasks as directed.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
