Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Dishwasher at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. The role supports kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization throughout food production and service areas.

You will wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, stock supplies, and assist with setup and breakdown. Requires a HS diploma or GED and knowledge of sanitation. Flexible shifts and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Restocks supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lb (50 lb occasionally).
