Responsibilities

• Maintain dishwashing station and ensure steady supply of clean dishes.
• Clean dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans as assigned.
• Store and dispose of garbage and soiled linens properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dish area and BOH per Health Dept.
• Follow supervisor instructions and support teammates.
• Operate dish machine confidently and safely.
• Assist chefs with communication of product needs.
• Set up and close dish station as directed by management.
• Report equipment damage or breakage immediately.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

About Us

A revolutionized dining, drinking and entertainment establishment across from Delta Center in Fountain Plaza at The Gateway. Owned and operated by Las Vegas-headquartered Carver Road Hospitality, the complex will feature a restaurant, three bars, 400-square-feet of LED screens, private karaoke and golf simulator rooms, a central nightclub and a cocktail lounge with bowling.

Open seven days a week, the restaurant will serve American bar and grill food favorites along with more eclectic offerings and playfully crafted desserts, all freshly prepared in the full kitchen.

Position Summary

The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
• Aides in cleaning inside and outside the venue.
• Properly stores and removes garbage and soiled linens.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of dish station, the kitchen and the BOH area in accordance with Health Department.
• Follow supervisor’s instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of the dish machine.
• Possesses in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment and supplies.
• Communicates product needs to the chefs and/or purchaser.
• Properly sets-up dish station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management.
• Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
• Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
