OMAKAI is hiring a Dishwasher in Miami, FL. This full-time role offers on-site work with 30–40 hours per week and a clear path to line cook or sushi chef positions for those who work hard and learn quickly.

The dishwasher keeps the operation flowing by washing dishes, assisting with prep, and stocking ingredients. No prior experience is required, and the restaurant provides training and growth opportunities. Starting wage is $18 per hour with meal benefits and other perks.

Qualifications

• No experience required; dishwashing or restaurant experience preferred.
• SafeServe, allergy compliance, and sexual harassment prevention certifications required; we cover training costs.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; stay through the end of a shift.
• Able to handle knives, glassware, and cleaning chemicals safely.
• Able to follow instructions and food safety rules exactly.
• Able to keep up with rushes and communicate with the kitchen team.
• Reliable transportation; legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and return dishes, glassware, and equipment to the line quickly.
• Keep the dish area organized and the sink clear during shifts.
• Assist with prep work and rice cooking as directed by line cooks.
• Restock ingredients and supplies to prevent shortages.
• Support line cooks to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
