HopCat is hiring a Dishwasher at the Grand Rapids location under Project BarFly. You will keep the dish area clean, stocked, and ready for service, while ensuring proper sanitation and safe handling of chemicals.

Qualifications

• No restaurant experience required.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, chemical, and equipment instructions.
• Dependability and willingness to work in a fast-paced team.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Scrape, sort, wash, rinse, sanitize, dry, and store wares.
• Test and monitor dish-machine and sanitizer performance as directed.
• Maintain chemical levels and follow safe chemical-handling procedures.
• Remove trash and recycling and maintain related areas.
• Clean floors, mats, drains, walls, equipment, and kitchen spaces.
• Protect clean items from contamination and report damaged wares.
• Assist with basic kitchen support and cleaning assignments when needed.
