Benihana - Columbus is seeking a motivated dishwasher to support our BOH team in Columbus, OH. You will ensure dishes, utensils, and cookware are clean and ready for service while maintaining a sanitary, organized kitchen environment.

You will work in a fast-paced setting, standing for long periods and assisting with basic prep as needed. A positive attitude and teamwork mindset are essential for daily success in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dishwasher or kitchen support is helpful but not required.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong focus on cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness in dishwashing areas and storage spaces.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure adequate chemical supplies.
• Assist with trash and recycling and proper waste disposal.
• Keep floors, drains, and workstations clean and safe.
• Store kitchen tools and equipment properly for use.
• Collaborate with BOH team to keep service smooth.
• Follow health department sanitation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist with basic prep work and food handling as needed.
• Complete tasks assigned by Chefs and Kitchen Leadership with professionalism.
