Job summary

Gilder Search Group seeks a dependable Dishwasher to support a fast-paced commercial kitchen in Bel Air, MD. This role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment while maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift moderate loads, and work a flexible, rotating schedule with weekend shifts. Prior dishwasher or food-service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous dishwashing or food-service experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to safely lift and move dishes, equipment, and kitchen supplies.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
• Must be dependable and able to work a flexible, rotating schedule.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.
• Must be willing to work beyond the scheduled shift when required by business needs.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, trays, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely
• Sort, scrape, rinse, load, and unload dishes
• Return clean dishes and supplies to their proper storage areas
• Maintain clean and sanitary dishwashing and kitchen areas
• Empty trash and properly dispose of waste
• Sweep and mop floors as needed
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures
• Assist with stocking and organizing kitchen supplies
• Support the kitchen team with additional duties as assigned
