Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or uses a dishwashing machine as assigned; maintains cleanliness and sanitation.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays according to procedures and keeps the area sanitary.
• Polishes silver and ensures equipment cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and complies with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to uphold safety and cleanliness standards.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas; assists with loading/unloading as needed.
