Job summary

As a Dishwasher, you will support opening/closing tasks, handle dishwashing with speed, and adhere to sanitation standards while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, or food service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Familiarity with sanitation standards, safety practices and proper equipment use.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes using a commercial dishwasher and 3-compartment sink.
• Pre-sort, soak, and rinse silverware and utensils.
• Safely load and unload the dishwashing machine.
• Work with speed and a sense of urgency.
• Support opening and closing tasks, including setup and breakdown.
• Follow instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and chemical handling procedures.
• Complete utility tasks including trash removal and box breakdown.
• Perform janitorial duties, including sweeping and mopping.
• Communicate effectively as a supportive team member.
• Work well under pressure with a positive, patient attitude.
• Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
