Job summary

Salt + Smoke in St. Louis is seeking a dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen and maintain high sanitation standards. You will wash, polish, and store china, glassware, and silverware, while assisting with prep and deliveries. Weekend evenings are required, with a flexible part-time schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to be organized and multi-task efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and lift up to 50–80 lbs and go up and down stairs.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays; local catering travel as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate dish washing machine with proper rack stacking and prese soak, wash dishes, pots, pans and utensils.
• Maintain mop stations, sweep and mop floors, and clean kitchen areas.
• Polish stainless steel and clean ovens, hoods, drains and vents as scheduled.
• Empty trash, assist in deliveries, and support food prep projects as needed.
• Practice safe work habits and comply with sanitation and safety procedures.
• Assist in putting away incoming orders and daily duties as assigned.
