Wally’s Wine & Spirits in Malibu Beach is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support our fast-paced kitchen and culinary team. You’ll keep dishes, utensils, and cookware clean and sanitized, and help maintain organized prep and dishwashing areas.

This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and attention to cleanliness. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; you must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and communicate effectively in the workplace language.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a dishwasher, steward, or similar kitchen support role preferred.
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food service environments.
• Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to communicate effectively in the primary language of the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean, sanitized dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep dishwashing, prep, and kitchen areas organized, clean, and well stocked.
• Support overall kitchen cleanliness through routine sweeping, mopping, and sanitation tasks.
• Assist with basic food preparation and support the culinary team as needed.
• Ensure health, safety, and sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on operational excellence and guest satisfaction.
