Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and Sanitization: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, and cooking utensils by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure that all items are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and free of food residue.
• Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area.
• Assist kitchen staff by collecting and returning kitchen tools, pots, and pans to their designated areas.
• Empty and clean trash bins regularly to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables or portioning ingredients, as needed.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on dishwashing equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Stocking and Organization: Restock clean dishes, glassware, and utensils in their designated storage areas.
• Ensure that cleaning supplies and chemicals are properly stored and labeled.
• Health and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents.
• Follow sanitation procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
• Maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness, including wearing the appropriate uniform and protective gear.
