Job summary

Ue.co is seeking a Dishwasher to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the dishwashing area, ensuring safe temperatures and proper storage. You will work with kitchen staff to keep glassware, tableware, and utensils clean and organized, and assist with general restaurant cleanup.

The role requires basic English communication, ability to stand for long periods, and physical capacity to lift up to 60 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow verbal instructions in English.
• Must be able to communicate clearly with managers and other staff members.
• Must be able to read labels on chemicals.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils and send through dish machine.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and carry to storage areas.
• Change dishwater in the machine when necessary.
• Remove trash and garbage to dumpster.
• Ensure back dock cleanliness at all times.
• Set up or break down dishwashing area.
• Fill/empty 3-compartment sink with cleaning/sanitizing solutions.
• Sweep and mop floors and maintain a clean environment.
• Attend scheduled employee meetings and participate with suggestions.
