JOEY Restaurants in Los Angeles area is seeking a Dishwasher to support a fast-paced kitchen and guest experience. You will maintain a pristine dining environment, ensure sanitary practices, and help the kitchen team succeed through opening/closing duties.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and California Responsible Beverage Service certifications.
• Passion for hospitality and a proven track record of creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
• Able to walk/stand for prolonged periods; bend, reach, stretch; perform repetitive tasks; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, clean, polish, and break down the dish machine; change the dishwater periodically.
• Wash dishes, cutlery, glassware, and other equipment; stock and organize accordingly.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe dish area following health and safety procedures.
• Monitor dish machine to ensure temperatures/sanitizers meet safety standards.
• Ensure dish temperatures and sanitizer ppm levels comply with health codes.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to support the kitchen team.
• Report equipment problems and maintenance issues to leadership.
