Responsibilities

• Collect used dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload commercial dishwashing machines.
• Hand-wash pots, pans, cutting boards, china, and specialty items.
• Inspect cleanliness and sanitation of dishes and glassware.
• Store clean items and keep supply stocked during service.
• Set up and maintain dishwashing and kitchen work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and surrounding areas.
• Monitor supplies and notify when restocking is needed.
• Report machine or equipment issues promptly.
• Assist with other kitchen tasks during slower periods.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist kitchen team as assigned.
