Job summary

Blackstone Consulting, Inc is hiring dishwashers for our corporate cafe client in Cupertino, CA. You will wash dishes, assist with cleaning and stocking, and help keep the dish room organized. The role supports a team environment with potential to move into prep cook over time.

Requirements include a Food Handler’s Card, non-slip shoes, and a high school diploma. Prior food service or dishwasher experience is preferred; benefits and daily meal vouchers are offered.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of experience in customer service or high-volume food service
• Ability to take direction and work effectively in team environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Be able to speak clearly and listen attentively to staff, peers, supervisors, guests and clients
• Be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
• Correctly follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain the highest standards of conduct and confidentiality
• Includes flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as requested by a manager

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment in a timely manner
• Assist with cleaning, stocking and lifting items and ensure dishes are restocked
• Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
• DMO Team may step in as line servers when the cafe gets busy
