Job summary

Forefront Healthcare seeks a dedicated Dishwasher to join our culinary team in a full-time, hourly role, supporting the dining service for residents.

You will follow applicable regulations, attend department meetings, complete training, and help with tray setup, meal service, dishwashing, and sanitation.

Responsibilities include cleaning, waste removal, stocking, adhering to safety, infection control, and reporting needs to the GM or designee.

Qualifications

• Must follow facility policies and procedures and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Willingness to participate in required training and certifications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dining/kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Set up the dining room and serve residents.
• Wash and store dishes.
• Sweep, mop, and take out the trash.
• Keep all dining and related areas free of debris.
• Follow infection control procedures and reporting procedures for supplies and equipment needs.
• Understand and follow the facility’s fire and disaster plans and participate in drills.

Job Description

The Dishwasher performs designated work and cleaning routines for the culinary department in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, with established policies and procedures and assuring resident safety.

• Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards.
• Attend department meetings as required.
• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certification/licenses, if applicable.
• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures specific to the assigned work account.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.

• Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and facility rules, regulations, policies, and procedures applicable to the job.
• Perform other department duties or special assignments as directed by the GM or designee.
