Job summary

Westminster Oaks in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Dining Services Tech II to help keep a high-volume dining operation running smoothly. You’ll wash dishes, stock shelves, assist cooks, and maintain sanitation logs.

This role supports inventory tasks and loading/unloading deliveries as needed, under supervision. Requirements: 6 months+ dining experience, basic sanitation knowledge, and a High School diploma or better; EOE statement.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more experience in a high-volume dining environment.
• Understanding of basic sanitation practices including use of cleaning chemicals and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of dishes, glassware, flatware and cooking pots and pans; assist cooks with pot washing.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations and surfaces including trash removal.
• Maintain temperature and sanitation logs to comply with standards and regulations.
• Restock shelves for meal service of wares.
• Assist with stocking shelves in the inventory room and assist with unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

The Dining Services Tech II Will

• Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Experience Required

• 6 months or more experience in a high volume dining environment. Understanding of basic sanitation practices including use of cleaning chemicals and personal protective equipment.
