Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Dishwasher to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain the cleanliness of the nutrition services storage and dish areas. You will support the dining services department by delivering water pitchers, stocking areas, and transporting items as required.

The ideal candidate has prior relevant experience and can communicate effectively in English with residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, oral and written, with residents, family members, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain the dish room and equipment.
• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations and keep stock areas neat and orderly.
• Clean and wash dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, and store them properly.
• Sweep and mop floors; assist in transporting residents during emergencies as needed.
• Assist in other kitchen cleaning duties and maintain sanitation throughout dining areas.
