Covenant Living is seeking a Dishwasher in Cromwell, CT to operate the dishwashing machine and maintain orderly nutrition services storage areas, supporting the dining services department.

Ideal candidates have kitchen or food-service experience and can communicate clearly in English with residents and staff. Full-time role with a comprehensive benefits package is available.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwashing machine and maintain dish room and equipment.

• Keep kitchen work areas and dining rooms clean and organized; assist in cleaning assignments.
• Assist in transportation of residents during emergencies following procedure.

In This Role, The Dishwasher Will

• Deliver clean water pitchers to nursing stations.
• Maintain stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion on a daily basis.
• Transport carts to and from the appropriate dining areas.
• Operate the dishwashing machine.
• Monitor and record the water temperatures and cleaning compound usage.
• Perform cleaning assignments as directed.
• Clean and washed food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc., and stores same.
• Uses proper sanitation in all food and service areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances.
• Deliver food requests to stations as needed.
• Keep all kitchen work areas and dining rooms clear of dirty dishes.
• Performs other cleaning assignments as directed.
• Sweep and mop floors and work areas.
• Assist in the transportation of residents in case of fire, disaster, or emergency evacuation according to procedure.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Compensation Pay Range

$16.94 - $20.88 per hour

Reasonable Pay Estimate

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this position is $16.94 - $20.88 per hour. There are numerous factors taken into consideration in determining the actual offered rate of pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and consideration of internal and external equity.
