Job summary

Sodexo at Munson Healthcare Manistee Hospital is seeking a Dishwasher to support kitchen operations by keeping areas clean and organized, handling dishwashing, and assisting with set-up and break-down as needed.

This role requires basic sanitation knowledge, a High School diploma or equivalent, and the ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds. The position offers full-time hours, varied shifts, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, basic food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or places them in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Restock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
