Qualifications

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen and utensils in clean, sanitary condition.
• Ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation of work areas.
• Follows safety procedures and keeps dish area orderly.
• Assists with loading/unloading supplies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes by hand or via dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to procedures and sanitation standards.
• Polishes silverware as required and maintains cleanliness of equipment.
• Maintains temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors to meet sanitation requirements.
• Removes trash and handles waste disposal as directed.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas and supports loading tasks.
