Job summary

Sagora Senior Living in Hoover, AL is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to wash dishes, monitor machine temperatures, and maintain a spotless kitchen for residents’ meals. You will help ensure high-quality service at every dining occasion.

The role requires reliability, ability to read/write/speak English, and effective communication with team members. Prior kitchen experience is preferred, and Sagora supports growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• 6 months experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes and utensils, ensuring highest standards of cleanliness
• Monitor the temperature of the dishwashing machine daily to ensure proper operation
• Remove cracked or damaged dishes from service and notify supervisor
• Store dishes, glassware, and utensils for next use
• Dispose of trash properly
• Clean the dishwashing machine inside and out after each shift
• Deep clean kitchen on a monthly basis
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerator, and freezer each evening
