Job description

Position Summary

Ensure all service/kitchen wares are clean and sanitized. Interacts with fellow team members and supervisors in a polite and courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Anticipate and accommodate the needs of all employees.
  2. Aides in cleaning inside and outside the venue.
  3. Proper storage and removal of garbage and soiled linens.
  4. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of the dish station, the kitchen, and the entire venue.
  5. Follow supervisor's instructions, communicate with and support co-workers while being a team player.
  6. Possesses in-depth knowledge of the dish machine.
  7. Possesses in-depth knowledge of proper usage of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
  8. Possesses general knowledge of the venue.
  9. Complies with Department of Health and company sanitation standards.
  10. Communicates product needs to the chefs and/or purchaser.
  11. Properly sets-up dish station and performs opening/closing procedures as directed by management, including:
    1. Stocks stations with prescribed supplies.
    2. Maintain and clean kitchen equipment.
    3. Wipes down and sanitizes stations.
    4. Performs opening side-work as prescribed.
    5. Performs closing side-work as prescribed.
  12. Reports all breakage and damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
  13. Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings (where applicable).
  14. Attends and participates in any training sessions or departmental meetings.
  15. Learn by listening, observing other team members, and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
  16. Portrays a positive and professional attitude.
  17. Demonstrates knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and supporting hotel environments.
  18. Works as part of a team and provides help and support to all fellow team members.
  19. Assist and/or complete additional tasks as assigned.

Training Requirements
Tao Group Hospitality in-venue dishwasher training

Education/Working Knowledge
Previous porter and/or Dishwasher experience preferred.
