Job summary

Nisqually Red Wind Casino is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to properly wash and store dishes, maintain the dish room, and support both Back of House and Front of House teams. This role emphasizes cleanliness, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, stocking supplies, and assisting with other kitchen tasks as needed. A Food Handler’s permit is preferred; willingness to obtain one is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers permit or willing to obtain one.
• Ability to take initiative and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong customer service-minded approach and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation in a kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down dish machine, including arms, screens, and baskets.
• Clean and polish the machine and interior; ensure proper operation.
• Wash and store all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils in proper places.
• Monitor water temperature during dishwashing for proper hygiene.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness of the dish room and cans.
• Keep lowerators clean, stocked, and organized; perform other duties as assigned.
